The high calorie workout you shouldn't skip!

At Fitness Warehouse we love a good workout and here is the high calorie workout you shouldn't skip! Using big movements that involve your legs burns a lot of calories due to the fact that your leg muscles tend to be larger compared to other body parts. As a result, you use more energy and calories to get them moving.

We teamed up with personal trainer Taylah Lee Kelly for this 6 Move Workout involving Rubber Hex Dumbbells. The workout is split into 2 rounds, repeat each round 3 times, with a minute rest between each.

The workout:

Round 1: Repeat 3-4 times, 1 minute rest between sets.
Goblet squat x 12
Reverse lunges x 10 e/s
Side sway squat x 10 e/s

Round 2: Repeat 3 times, 1 minute rest between sets
Single leg RDL x 10 e/s
Lying leg curl x 12
Bulgarian split squat x 10 e/a

Summary: 

Enjoy giving this workout a go. It's not a beginner workout, so if you're just starting out make sure that you either do less rounds or less reps for the first couple of times. Otherwise you won't be able to walk, sit down, laugh or cough without feeling your quads, butt and groins!
